Hanging Foliate Sconce with Glass Shades

From the Remains Archive. An antique two arm sconce with naturalistic foliate details in gilded bronze. An intricately designed scroll, from which the sconce body hangs, protrudes from a large foliate escutcheon. The arms are wrapped in brass leaves and support two bullet shades in wheel-cut frosted glass. Signed by the New York maker Sterling Bronze Co.
