Remains Lighting Co. has served the interior design and architecture communities for decades with its expert sourcing, design, and fabrication of heirloom lighting fixtures.
Founded by David Calligeros in 1996, Remains has grown from an off-the-beaten-path antique resource to a world-class maker of artisanal lighting. Inspired by the beauty of classical architecture and driven by a passion for antique metalwork, David honed his craft by hunting down, researching, and meticulously restoring vintage pieces. The impeccable quality of Remains’ made to order and custom fixtures springs from this deep experience in traditional workmanship. Every fixture is conceived of and handcrafted by designers, engineers, and artisans in our 25,000 square-foot, LEED Gold-certified Brooklyn factory, from a mindset of both preservation and innovation.

Our LEED Gold factory houses design & engineering, machining, fabrication, welding, soldering, polishing, plating, assembly, and quality control departments. Our team of design professionals includes artists, machinists, industrial designers and professional engineers.
