Dolphin Sconce

A single-light sconce in its original antique brass finish, with an oval backplate and an arm in the form of a dolphin, which supports a shell cup. Dolphins have been a frequent motif in classical design since the time of the ancient Greeks. Their presence alongside ships is a sign of good luck and protection.
