An antique cast opaline glass dome chandelier with delicate cast and wrought brass metalwork, in its original aged patina. Four acanthus leaves engage with a wave pattern bezel that holds the glass lens. The leafy mounts resolve into C scrolls which catch the delicate knotted rope suspensions. A foliate cluster transitions to a thick oval link chain, terminating in a cast gadrooned and foliate canopy. The lens has a bas relief pattern of urns and bellflower garlands above a fluted paterae.
