Bronze Caldwell and Opaline Glass Flushmount

An antique E. F. Caldwell Co. flushmounted light fixture with lambs-tongue and beaded details in the cast bronze base and a period swirled opalescent glass ball shade. The swirling ribs of the glass shade produce a striking pattern on the ceiling, The original crossbar, which bears the Caldwell mark, is included in this product but was not used in the restoration, which conforms to modern codes. The glass shade, which is correct to the period is not original to the fixture. The glass has a small chip in the rim and a difficult-to-detect fault in the body. Please see the photographs.
