From the Remains Archive. Available by inquiry.
The Aurora is hand molded of Crystalline Resin in a painstakingly layered technique, directly cast from the original pattern found in Tony Duquette's archive. Updated as a stand-alone fixture, it entered his repertoire as a ceiling escutcheon which he used repeatedly, in gold or silver leaf, placing it over his many custom designed crystal chandeliers. Each with slight, unique variations inherent in the material and the hand-made nature of the resin.
This work remains available through the Remains workshop as part of the Archive, an evolving collection of prior studio designs, custom works, and historical references.
