Watercolor of Exterior Wall Lantern

From the Remains Archive. A historic drawing on paper of an exterior wall lantern. The fixture depicted has a half ellipse body, with brass framing filled with curved glass on a simple backplate and arm with a secondary tieback above. The urn finials, gadrooned details, fluting, and acanthus leaf husks are all appropraite to the drawing's Beaux Arts period. With an embossed stamp from the Beardslee Chandelier MFG Co.
