A vintage carved alabaster inverted dome chandelier with cast bronze mounts in their original aged finish. The lip of the dome carved with a leaf and dart border which is echoed in the canopy. The base of the dome is carved with a large floral rosette. Alabaster includes natural veining, as well as the marks and scuffs of age and use inherent in soft stone, giving the surface a wonderful, irreplaceable patina. Each stone is unique and there are variations from piece to piece.
